help date a knife

little 2 1/2in. pearl knife
any help with a date would be appreciated
just pic the hairs off with it---hes sharp now l ::nod::

my eyes are old :lol: what are the tang marks? i like that old square kick.

PAPE
THIEBES
GERMANY
and on the back it says
UNITAS
with a strange symbol

papes-thiebes was in st. louis from 1907-1929. importers. walter papes started the co. in 1903. unitas was their mark.

Look at this Ka-Bar, reminded me of you knife.....not nearly as nice but a bit unussual.

The main blade which says Ka-Bar seems to be much more pristine than the rest...which would make me wonder.....thought you might like it though.
