Been waiting on these for 3 weeks, they arrived this morning. All A. wright and son. They are left to right [ if the pic comes out as it should ], lamb foot snakewood, lamb foot driftwood and a Bunny knife rosewood. Hope you all have a good weekend, and my thoughts with anyone affected by the devastating fires in California.

Thanks Mate, glad that you like them. The term bunny knife has nothing to do with the size of the knife. It is a " Term " that was instigated in Australia roughly 100 years ago. It relates to the fact that this style of knife was used by rabbit hunters as their preferred knife style, back then we had plague proportions of rabbits, and many men hunted rabbits as their job and made a good living out of it, especially through the depression. The main brand of "bunny knife" was a Joseph Rodgers from England, this was my first knife over 50 years ago. You have a good weekend mate.

So now we have Imperial USA, IRLAND, MEXICO & ENGLAND. If anybody knows of others, let me know. Guess I could just check the Internet and find out. Imperials (1 or 2) from each country they were made in would make a cool set. Maybe I"ll try that some day after I get the set of 5 Case's I'm looking for. I did pick up 2 Imperials from the USA when I was in MD so I already have a start. I've seen Irland on the bay here so those & England shouldn't be to hard for me to get. Mexico could be harder to find.

Thanks Tom, and I wish your son great luck learning/playing guitar, he will need it. First 3 months or so will be a slog (I know, i'm 3 months in myself full time), after that it all starts to come together. Make sure he hits some youtube lessons, learns to play a few simple songs along with all the cord and scale practice, makes it feel like a person is progressing, not just wasting there time .

Thought that you might be interested in my collection, so thought i would post it for you, sadly i lost my first one which i received over 50 years ago. These are from the top down- A Wright and Son Rosewood, A Wright and Son Rosewood, Taylors Eye Witness Acrylic and Joseph Rodgers Polished Rosewood. The different colors of rosewood show just how much the color of wood can vary.

Great looking set of knives cudgee! Like how the black handles are bright & shiny. The shiny silver blade makes a great contrast to the shiny black handles. TOP!

Not really, this style of knife was "Adopted" because of it was a single blade perfect for skinning rabbits and easy to carry. When i was a kid a lot of farmers carried Lamb Foot or Sheep Foot knives, they were just called farmers knives or work knives. But all our early knives came from the mother country - England.

Hi knife friends,

I brought some "Season All" seasoned salt back from the states in August and traded it for a Camillus. Today I went down in the furnace room and cleaned it up a bit. It has some pitting but it still has some really good snap. I'm happy to add it to my pile.

My Knife Cleaning Tipp For The Day Is:

If you take a flat headed screw driver and press extra fine steel wool down to the bottom of a tight knife well, it's hard to get the crap back out!

Those are some beautiful knives cudgee! The driftwood really is awesome looking! Well the other one looks great as well. Both are very nice pick ups!

Yep, Schrade made.
I had one years ago.
It was swinden key, too.

I was looking at some of my hunters i don't know if imperial used the swinden key construction ..but the cover pin placement and lack of lanyard hole is reminiscent of this imperial frontier powder horn , right era too I believe ..just a thought..WB

Gator snap on both blades. I'm not a big Barlow accumulator but this one rounded out the trio I wanted. The above sheepsfoot, a camco clip, and a Camillus spear.

This one came today, all I can say is wow! It’s an exclusive through Case, no dealers will have this. They said this was the first direct offering by Case of an exclusive knife. I think they picked a winner for their first knife. Buffalo Horn Handles on a two blade Barlow.
