Jim, a roundtable basically works this way. A bunch of knife knuts sign up. When the sign up period ends, the keeper of the zoo will draw the names out of a box. Once all the names have been drawn, the first person sends a knife (roundtable rules specify minimum value, etc.) to the second person, second sends a different knife to the third, until the end where the last person sends a knife to the first person... Kind of a multi-person knife drop.
