Camillus #41 (not another #23)

Post by orvet »

This old Camillus #41 had some pretty nasty looking Delrin, but I can’t find them before pictures. The snap is a little weak on the master blade, but it’s acceptable kept oiled. The stag originally came from the Henckels factory. I love how they cut it so thin.

I replaced the funky Delrin and put on some Henckels stag.
I thought it was an improvement, I hope you think so too.
Enjoy my lousy pictures. ::facepalm::

So what's the matter with your pictures?

Of course, the stag looks much better than Brownstag® or Delrin® and you did a much better job of installing it than Henckels would have. I like the 41 Senators and that one looks especially nice.

Dale, you dressed that little feller up real nice!
And you make it all look so easy! I know that you learned this the hard way just like the rest of us (I have looked back at some of your old posts), but nowadays you turn out knives that look better than they did from the factory!
Keep it up. I love to see pictures of your work.

Ditto, I don't see anything wrong with your pictures, and of course, you did a masterful job as always. I would have never thought of putting stag on that knife, but it looks great! ::tu:: ::tu::

Oh man... heck yeah! That little guy sure turned out nice Dale!
I really like the way the vintage stag turned out. Really sweet!
