David (edge213) , I would like to know the maker of the Russell as well. Below are pics of my master barlow. I didn’t know about these being part of a set. I hope someone has an answer about the maker. It’s a hefty knife.

Here are all the Barlow’s to date that I have acquired. My number of these has really spiked since Case brought these out of the vault. Plus if you get the chance to buy a GEC Barlow, you should take it. Take GEC and Case together and I have probably bought more Barlow’s this year than any other year or any other pattern.

Very impressive, Mark, a nice collection. Please be sure and show off the Buffalo horn if you happen to pick one up, as you mentioned in yesterdays post on" Newest Case pickups"

I must have waited too long. The Buffalo horn Barlow’s are sold out. Which is okay with me. I finally clicked on the email and saw the price on those bad boys, 128.00. I was more than a little surprised to see them priced this high. But it was directly from Case. They charge you the full retail price and not the lower dealer retail price. I will keep checking dealers to see if they have any at a lower price, not holding my breath.
I did see a Hunter Green Sawcut bone that I hadn’t seen before. Probably just going back to the burnt purple tribal bone. If I can find enough that look like the stock photo, I will buy more burnt purple tribal Barlows. Included the stock photo of both the purple and the Buffalo horn. You can see on the tribal bone how the color pops, but not so much on the actual knife.

Yesterday this was sold out. Today it says low stock. I did order one, in spite of the price, yikes! I read the details at the end of the pictures, I included a copy for you to see . This is one of the first knives sold directly by Case and not a dealer. So it won’t come cheaper than this and no other dealer will have this. For me it’s a good investment to buy one of these. Just about any Case knife that is produced in small quantities like this, will hold it’s value and usually appreciate, although this one starting at 128 might be the exception.
I’m including a link to the Case site in case anyone else is interested in ordering one. https://caseknives.com/collections/barl ... ollectable

It came today. Worth every penny. Simply magnificent.
I just checked the site and this is sold out. It said that before so anyone looking might keep checking back.

I got a couple more that I added to my collection....
An Ulster #11 with a spear point main blade......

And, I just fished this one out of the bay. I have NO IDEA who made it. It just looks like it has Bone handles and maybe put together pretty nicely.
If you recognize this one.... let me know.

Nice solid-looking Ulster Mike!

That case Buffalo Horn looks really sweet, thanks for posting Mark. Very visually appealing and I bet it has a great feel to it. I agree, worth the purchase price, that is one you will never regret.

Got this simply gorgeous Russell Green River Works in smooth red bone today. Wasn’t going to sell it but got carried away last week on other knives. Thought this one was unique enough to post it here.

Never thought much about Barlows, although I had one lost to time when I was a kid. Recently received one of my grandfathers, this Boker, like I see throughout this thread. Not exactly rare. There is just something about the weight of it and the snapiness of the two stops that makes it incredibly satisfying, as well as taking a very nice edge. The thing just feels good in hand, probably my main criteria for something I want to carry a lot. I’m nervous about losing it, but I carry it a good bit around here.

Come to think of it, I think I got one as a kid because I kept reading Tom Sawyer over and over and they mentioned “a real barlow knife” in it, just the usual pocket knife. So, I wanted one.

Love those Bokers!
.
I like Barlows because the style goes way back. The style is among the earliest folders.
They are beefy, sturdy looking knives.

Thanks for showing!

Shepherd Hills has a killer deal on a Case single blade barlow in antique smooth bone for June 1st only, 35.99. That’s 40% off the regular price.
Here is a link, not sure it will work if you aren’t signed up to get these emails but here it is: https://www.casexx.com/CustomerAppreciationDay/
FYI.

I only have one. It's nice and thin for the pocket. I cleaned and sharpened the blade up a little better since this picture.
