End Nippers/Cutters

I’m looking to get a new set of cutters for cutting pins etc. I know that Dale previously bought a pair of Klein cutters that he seemed to like a lot.
Does anyone else have a “favorite” end cutter or nipper that they use?

Jeff, the country is awash with fine old Utica side cutter/end nippers if you don't mind buying used tools.
The famous auction has several up for bid right now. Even Krauter nippers. All good stuff.

I used just about every brand out there, and hard. Klein, Channel lock are good as any. Knipex being the best.

Excellent question Jeff. The first one (Bernard's) has seen a lot of use on knives and other things. I think I got it at a yard sale with a box of tools a long time ago. Lately I noticed it wasn't cutting quite as well and I guess the cutting edges are getting dull. I'm not sure if they can be sharpened, but I haven't tried yet. I was very surprised when I noticed the 1899 patent stamp. A few days ago I tried the second one (Channellock 357), that I already had in my shop, and am very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. No need to look any further!
