If you have one give it a try! :D

I would probably be surprised if someone pulled that out as an EDC. A very beautiful old knife. ::nod:: ::nod::
Good point, I think it would definitely depend on what you do every day as to what would be an acceptable EDC.

Last Monday I stumble upon this table of what appear to be custom knives. According to the lady behind
the table that's what she said they were.

I scored this little small fixed blade with bone and teakwood chunks for the handles for $19.00 I love the size and that it
was made of carbon steel.....wow, hardest carbon steel I've ever worked on. Took me a couple days and about 45 minutes all, to
get an edge on it. And it's ok, but not like I like sharp.

Love the sheath too!!

Different without being gawdy or useless, excellent blade shape. And I don't think you'd lose your hold on it under any circumstance.
I like it. ::tu::

Yes, Trace, I'm sure it is original. It has unusual covers that I was told might be celluloid.
It's very thin and a great carry. 4 1/4" closed.

Appreciate that about the Camillus #33 Easy Open, doglegg & David. I'd looked a while for what I considered to be a "good one" since I probably will only have the one. I like the S&M Easy Open Jacks that are on ebay but I don't like their prices, & I'd rather have an old knife anyway.

Nice geocash!
Garry, what is that?
I like to carry this 82881 for those times I don't anticipate needing a knife but want the reassurance of having one. Who needs a worry stone when you have a Boker in your pocket?

I've got something like that, but it's the three-blade Stockman version. One of the smaller blades is broken (I think the pen blade), and it's got tarnish and pitting from sitting close to an outgassing celluloid knife my Granddad had. Small Stockmen/Penknives are really good for backups--I often carry one when I've either got a Folding Hunter-type knife on my belt, or a modern tactical clipped to my pocket. Usually the Case 6333 or Schrade USA "Minuteman" frame knives (104OT, 106OT, 108OT).

Absolutely gorgeous scrimshaw work on that one!

George Wostenholm Wireless Knife. About 1/4" bigger than a TL-29; and much heavier built. I do not think it's military at all; since there is no Broad Arrow (unless one may have been stamped into the scale at one point?). One and two blade versions were made by lots of manufacturers with MOD stamps, however. The name I learned from an old ad from the '30s I saw on BladeForums. Handles appear to be wood fiber, and the liners are steel. I'm thinking it was made in the late '40s-early 1950s. Beartrap snap on both blades, and the screwdriver has a really good file (for electrical contacts, mostly). One of my favorite electrician-type knives. Took me ages to find one. This was actually all I carried today.
