IMPERIAL GERMANY MOTHER OF PEARL

IS ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THE IMPERIAL KNIFE CO. GERMANY? I recently bought a small two inch mother of pearl and was wondering how old it might be.(no numbers) Ive had ones from solingen and ones with the eye, but have never seen the imperial. There are a few in the standard knife collectors guide but not imperial. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

a brand imported by a. kastor & brothers. does the stamp read "imperial r"?

Yup, there is a R on the second line. It reads Imperial R co. with a line then Germany. Does Kastor and Bro's go back quite a ways? Ive never seen one.

adolf kastor & brothers - 1876-1947(goins says 1886-1945)(trademarks assigned to camillus 1947)
their stamp, imperial r., according to lrvine's dates 1880s-1890s.

not to be confused with imperial knife co. providence, r.i. 1917 -.
