Imperial Scout Knife (Camillus 72 Pattern)

Post by Jeffinn »

I had some nectarine colored bone in the Aberdeen pattern and a few Camillus 72 knives so I decided to use the bone on one of them. As always I noticed a bit of polishing compound once I took the pictures but that's okay (I almost expect it now). Cool color and jigging pattern and the knife turned out okay. The main blade was seriously abused so its been refinished, the two smaller blades are as found.

You worked on a pattern that's near and dear to my heart. You sir, are an artisan in every sense of the word. I've admired your work in the past, but it truly hits home when it's a Camillus or a Camillus variation. Well done!! ::tu:: ::tu::

With that much wear on the main, you will never be happy with it. Just send it to me, and I will dispose of it properly. (Ahem!)

Very nice job Jeff! You are really cranking out the rehabs these days. Another beautiful end result.

Try to remember to at least take a "before" pic so we can see the dramatic change!

2 thumbs up!

OH.... BTW.... I love that color! I'm glad you are using all these different tones of redish bone. I'm getting a good education about Culpepper bone.
