Yes it does keep growing Tom, but I'm still searching for the elusive "elk head" knife, in any pattern. ::dang::

I can help you search for your Elk on the Bay in Germany if you like. We could work out a trade if I find one. But only if you want. And here's an Elk knife. Seen this one yet?:

https://www.n8tivearts.com/products/woo ... nife-vn81l

It may not be your taste, just as shot in the dark. ::shrug::

And one more thought. I've seen knives with advertising for Elk Loges before. Maybe some Elk Lodge had a knife produced with an Elk on it. Who knows. I'm sure theres one out there with your name on it. So to speak.

Latter Skip,
Tom
Hi Tom. I appreciate the offer, but I want the knife to be from Imperial, Kingston, Ulster, etc. I want it to be the same style of handles, but it could be any pattern. I don't want just any knife with an elk image on it. The picture below is what I'm talking about. Those are what I have so far and I want to maintain the same style of handles but the pattern can be different.
Thank you again, Skip. ::handshake::

Wow Skip! They look even better when they are all lined up like that. If I stumble across any that might fit into your scheme,
( Imperial, Kingston, Ulster, ) I'll send you the link in a PM. ::handshake::

Hi Scott,

Is that a Single blade Queen at the top? I really like that one! ::tu::

I saw that your from west central FL. I went to HS in New Smyrna Beach, about 15 min. South of Daytona in Volusia County.
Sure do miss it. Except for the "Canes" and Mosquitoes. ::super_happy::

Take care,
Tom

Good grief - I've been back on this forum for 2 days and I have already bought 6 knives. Pictures after they arrive...

Nice finds! Now that I have a real Benchmade to compare it to, I've been meaning to get a Ganzo myself. I have pretty much that same hawkbill, although mine is marked Ontario. I'm a little confused since the hawkbill was never an offering in the "Old Hickory" line Queen made for OKC. Then again, I have an idea there was an agreement like "OK Ontario, you make us Demo Knives and TL-29s for the military contract; we'll make a line of traditional knives, including a hawkbill for you".

Hey Tom-
No sir, she's a trapper.....and downright gorgeous.
Personally I hate FLA except for 3 months of the year. I'm on the opposite coast of FLA!

Here's a pic of the trapper

Rick T that is a very good looking knife and obviously well made. The runup is as good as can be found on a manufactured knife. A quality piece. ::tu::

I just received this Robeson 622061 trapper. According to the tang stamp, it is 1940-1964. I'm very pleased - she's filthy, but seems to be an HOK. Snaps on open, close is a bit weak, but that might be due to the dirt & gunk. No cracks. She'll fit right in to my empire of dirt.

This Chinese Cannon showed up in today's mail. Fairly decent all around except for the half-stop is pretty "flopsie" but for the price I can live with it. Walk & talk is okay. Not what we've become accustomed to seeing come out of China but it's better than Pakistan and as I said, for the price, it's okay.

Today I received this Solingen Slimline Trapper by Boker. The F&F are decent. The half stops are fair. I like the bright yellow bone. The blade had good initial sharpness.
