I would like to know the age of this budding knife. Tang stamped IXL GEORGE WOSTENHOLM, It has a small triangle between the I and X no other marks.

with no country of origin, possibly pre-1890, or not for export. the mark between the "I" and "XL" is listed as a star - "I*XL". nothing found regarding a triangle. cool budder. is there a spud on the other end?

Johnnie, yes it is made as part of the handle. Ivory I think. The picture was croped to much
not showing complete knife.
