Lehigh Valley (Easton) knife show back on!!

Received this today. The Lehigh Valley show is back on. This is a last minute attempt to get the show on, I hope it works for them.


"Bill Goodman, the Founder and Manager of the Lehigh Valley Knife Show, has fallen very ill recently, and through word of mouth had cancelled this knife show as he was simply unable to proceed with everything involved. Now with Bill's support, Fred & Sharon Eisen and myself have been successful is bringing this show back to life. THE SHOW IS ON !!!

If you had originally booked a table for this show, please let me know by responding to this email, if you will be coming to set up for the weekend. If you have rescheduled to another event, please let me know that as well. Finally, if you were just simply interested in / or planned on attending, please pass the news along that the show is back !! We really need your help in advertising this show, and getting as many customers and knife fans to this event as possible. We want to make this show as successful as we possibly can, especially for Bill. Go to PAKnifeShow.com for additional information (but please realize that the vendor listing is not up to date - Bill was simply unable to keep up and we are quite overwhelmed at the moment getting everything else arranged).

Chrin Center, Easton, PA Sept 28 and 29, doors open at 9 AM, I don't know when closing is but the letter above does have their e-mail or website info in it where more detailed info is available. I can't make it, sure hope all who get there find some goodies at good deals!!

Went to the show today with one of my brothers and a nephew. Got bad news right at the gate, Wm Goodman had died in the hospital. A sad start to the day indeed.

We get just inside the door and brother Gary finds a near mint Case M5 Finn, the tiny 6 inch Finn B & T with gorgeous stag withe "CASE" stamp, sans serif. After consulting with the two experts that accompanied him , he bought it at a fair price.

I found the pictured knives with two different dealers and pleased to have both of them. The little Kinfolks is mint and the Kabar is in nice shape too and what a great feel in the hand. I would like to know what era, decade, etc the Kinfolks was made if possible and the would love to know the model number and /or name of the KaBar. That has a 4 inch blade, flat ground. It looks like a 598 but not sure. Thanks for looking.

Hey Steve , glad you and your brother picked up some nice knives. I ‘m with family near Corning NY this weekend. Apple picking and a birthday party for our 3 year old granddaughter today.

Hope to see more pictures from the show. Maybe Gene or Steve Warden will post some pics if they made it to the show.

Hey Steve, sounds like a great time to do that! Pretty country up that way this time of year. Gene wasn't there, had a previous engagement with a fishin' rod somewhere. Don't know if Steve Warden made it or not. There were fewer dealers than usual for this show and I would attribute that to the illness of Mr. Goodman and dealers needing to make other arrangements based on that. Even with that though, there was plenty to see and many familiar faces.

On our way out the door I spoke with the lady selling tickets about what the future would hold for this show. It sounds like Mr. Eisen and his wife and others are making an attempt to take over this show from Mr. Goodman's estate. So maybe this will continue without much interruption. I hope so.
