Looking for a Certain Case

Post by Larry »

Does anyone have a new, unused, Case Trapper in the natural bone without any type of handle embellishments other than the Case shield? I'm trying to find one for my uncle.

Thanks,
Larry

I may have to get that knife. You don't have it in a smooth bone do you?

Thanks,

It's not a CASE or a Trapper but just as good Moore Maker Knives : Linerlock Natural bone is at the bottom. I've been looking at this knife for a long time.

If you want a smooth natural bone w/o any other embellishments,
may want to consider getting a yellow synthetic '54 then have someone such as muskrat man install natural smooth bone handles for you. Would probably lose the Case shield but.....
SHC is also showing a smooth natural bone muskrat w/o garnish if that's "trapperish" enough for your lucky uncle.

Here's a 9333 example Kaleb replaced the faux pearl with natural bone smoothies.

Good luck, let us know how your project turns out.

10-4 kaleb,
I was thinking back when we did the Kent, shields were deleted.
Sorry for the misinfo.

Another trapper you may want to consider is the Pocket Worn Natural bone from 2001 (+2002?).
Item no. 00279 for the 6254. These have shallow corn cob jig since they receive the pocket worn hand finishing.
Please note: these were not advertised as pocket worn and all I've seen were in the regular green box, NOT blue PW box.
They do have pw on label next to module number. Also they are listed in the Case Club mag's PW list published in volume 1 2006 pg 6-7.

Larry if you're still looking you might want to try here. http://collectorknives.net/casenewer2.html
I think it's what you're looking for. The first one in the 18th row down.

Larry, this isn't the trapper but will show you what the 2001 pocket worn natural bone looks like.
