I did a little work on another in that bunch of poor ole sick knives I got from the bay.
This one is a Camillus #15.. I went over to the Camillus forum and found out these knives weren't very popular at the time. One Camillus collector had one and that was about it.
Well, since I like RED I decided to put some Culpepper smooth red bone on this old guy.
Sorry.... no progress pictures this time.
Here he is before I started taking him apart. During the clean-up phase I decided to leave some patina on the blades. I didn't want to start chasing rust pits and wind up with really thin blades. So, just a little cleaning on the blades.... the rest of the clean up was on the liners....yuck! Oil mixed with cell residue....
