The photos look fine to me.
The best version (pre-1980) of the 110 needs the best scales. Great job! My great-uncle really beat the one that would become mine up. The scales are dinged up like that in a few places, and even a circular spot that suggests it was used to hammer on a pipe. Blade's also seen a belt sander. Took a little work on diamond stones, but I got a pretty good edge back on it.
From use, I've noticed that of the three steels my 3 110s are in (440C, 420HC, CPM-154), the 440C holds an edge longer. It's pre Edge-2X, pre-Bos heat treat; and still outperforms a supposed modern super-steel; supposedly equivalent to S30V.
