Cumberland Knife Works?

Post by SFC ADP »

Anyone know whats up with Cumberland Knife Works?
I bought a knife from them on the 18th, and its status shows it as confirmed, but has yet to ship.
I have bought from there before and is usually really fast shipping.

You probably should give Bill a call. I know he has had numerous problems with his computers and web site lately.

I bought several knives last month from them and had not received them. I sent an email questioning the shipping and the reply said they had a computer crash and were having a hard time sorting out the orders and getting them shipped. I finally received mine, but it took quite a while.

Got ahold of Bill this past week, the issue was resolved.
Aparently they were out of stock, and his site does not automatically remove the knife when they sell out. And since I ordered on a Sunday, that is where the problem started.
Bill was nice enough though to offer a refund, or a different knife, which I chose a GEC American Elk Muskrat, so looking forward to getting my hands on that one!

I also heard someone sent him an email with a virus in it. I need to talk with him soon, it's been a while. ::nod::

You're right Ken, Bill is a real fine man and one heck of a knifer. I have purchased several knives from him over the years and he has even hand delivered them to me before. OK,
we met off the interstate but still, above and beyond the call of duty as far as I'm concerned. He's one of the good guys for sure. ::tu:: ::nod::
