Well I don't know if it's any better looking than that yellow bone. Speaking of great patina and a handsome knife. Wow, looks better every time you show it with that increasing color. Even the bone looks like it gets better looking with time. Man I like seeing that knife. Wish GEC would do another 66 2 blade run like that. I lke my 66 Stockman, but that one of yours gives me pattern envy. Thanks for the compliment and right back atcha.313 Mike wrote:Great carries gents, Ivory the bone on that Case is phenomonal... the patina on the blades really makes that one handsome knife!
I am still carrying my same old yellow rose Jack, seems to find its.way into my pocket every day, and gets used for everything imaginable. Hasn't let me down yet.

Charlie that is a Buck I recently picked up. Wasn't expecting much out of it, but it has been performing very well. I am testing it versus my Ulster Stockman.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Switched out to my fave Northwoods Bear Lake. I love these because of the heat treat scale left on the blade, the stamp, the action, the size, the stag, the steel liners, the arrowhead shield. Nobody else gives the options Northwoods does, even other GECs don't give you. The sweet snap and tight lock up, the dead centering. And you can't get this particular pattern and options from any other knife maker or company. Zero. Not even GEC themselves. Nobody else is doing this pattern, this blade, this long pull and stamp on the blade. And I don't know of another company who sells knives that will increase in value like a Northwoods. Even this blue camel Presidential I threw in comes with blades you can't get on a regular GEC. Comes with a pocket slip and IMHO it's better looking and better covered and better color that the comparable GEC 54. And the blade pair. Nothing else like it.

Quick steel that knife is awesome, what kind is it?
It looks similar to the one i’m carrying today; the one that started my knife collecting problem.
Prov. Cut. Co.
Prov. R.I. U.S.A.

I really like long pulls and and Barlows. I’ve been looking everywhere for a Camillus #10, but most of the time they are chewed up pretty bad.
