Lately I've been alternating between my Rough Rider Trapper and the Marble's Swing Guard. For some reason though I'm really starting to like the old and new Swing Guard knives.

That empty shield was just begging for an initial. Unfortunately I never engraved anything before nor had a tool to do so. So I took a very small file, researched the cutting angles of an engraving tool and made my own tool out of that file. I then found an old font style from the late 1800’s and sketched it on the shield with a very sharp pencil.
