It is my understanding that this tang stamp would signify a blanket "Pre-86". Is there a way to tell what year this particular knife was made? That would be very interesting to know.Old Hunter wrote:Very nice, read the stamp tip down (circa 1972)


Thank you very much. I wasn't aware that the "inverted" part had anything to do with it. That's great news. The seller had two of these. One had the normal tang stamp, but this one had the inverted.
