Thanks guys, Tidioute Eureka Jack from Gunstock Jack. AKA Barry. Great pattern. DM11 the oily creek Rams Foot is cool too.

Been carrying this Case Moose for a few days. This one was salvaged for $15 at a gun shop. It had a tipped clip which I reshaped. When we got to showing off Moose knives the other day here on the forum, I decided to put my ol' #49 Queen on the shelf and ride on the Moose for a while.

Lots of neat knives. Greg & Ivoryman, I particularly like some of yours & I, too, think Jdub's one-of a-kind Case is pretty neat.
A couple from GEC today:

Buck seems to do that a lot with their innovative patterns. I have a Mod. 295 (pictured below) that I have beat the crap out of since 2006 and I love it. However when I started thinking about retiring it and getting a new one......it had been discontinued. I've seen a couple on fleabay but they were priced as if they had platinum handles or something. I'm getting ready to order one of the LT 112s and give it a work out. I'm interested in finding out how the "glass filled nylon" handles will perform with hard use.TripleF wrote:It's all thumb-stud manual, no coil spring. Wear and tear scares are a badge of honor meant to be worn proudly. Glad that one has served you well and another great pic.

Just sharpened up today's carry. GEC 35 one of my favorites.

Nice 66 geocash, great minds think alike. I had this before I saw your post today. What a coincidence. Great knives.
Tidioute 66, great de-boxer with that sweet little sheep foot, and good point on the clip.

And I also like the bones on that whittler. A good duo.
Iman you already know what I think of that beauty.

Thanks geocash and I enjoy seeing that calf roper of yours.
Case day for me today, mini copper lock and a Case Bros. whittler in chestnut jigged bone.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Sorry Steve. I'd like to help but I'm pretty attached to this thing. I got it from Collector Knives & so I looked there & at a few other GEC dealers before I had to stop looking because I got scared I'd buy another new knife. Sounds like Ivoryman isn't ready to get rid of his either. Good luck.Steve Warden wrote:Geo, what would it take to get you to turn loose of that Calf Roper?
Pretty whittler sunknife. I have a bit of a weakness for whittlers, especially when they look like that.

I completely understand. My request was half tongue in cheek, more to indicate how much I like the knife. I doubt my wallet could afford itgeocash wrote:Sorry Steve. Thank you dog. I do like my Ulster; giving my Buck stockman a few days rest. Trying to compare the two.

My 110LT handles have scratched a bit, but haven't got damaged. My only complaint is despite regular maintenance, the action is no where near as smooth as either of my brass-handle 110s and is kinda sluggish. And that's with regular cleaning and oiling. Don't know if it has anything to do with the finish or blade material (CPM-154, which is a powder metallurgy steel).
