Remington R1178 Turkey hunter question.

Does anyone know what material the handles on these knives are made of.I I have Googled and ask several knife people and cannot find any info on this knife. I have a regular R1187 and it has delrin scales.

They are made of Delrin. Jigged and colored to resemble stag. The knife book calls it Delrin Stag.
