Some nice knives being acquired I see. ::tu::
I'm impatiently awaiting a reply from a fella I made a trade offer to so hopefully I'll have something to post here soon. I want to slow down on the purchasing so in a trading mood just to have something new to play with. :)

Got this in the mail today from Amazon. I saw it while looking for something else and just liked it. Not expensive and nothing to write home about, but I guess that's what I'm doing.

Spring Assisted 3.25" BLADE, 4.5" CLOSED CARBON FIBER CAMO NYLON FIBER HANDLE INCLUDES POCKET CLIP.

Soowwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet bone doglegg, outstanding shape, looks like full blades and excellent all around. Sweet to see those oldies in that condition. Great Pal to have around. Nice score.

I used to have a collection of the WW II bone handle 2 blade EO jacks like the PAL one shown above. Had about 50 of them, mostly Camillus & Imperial. The PAL ones are not as common. This was about 10 years ago and nobody was buying them so many of them i won on ebay auction for about $20. They are such a nice knife, excellent design, solid and now about 75 years later still function perfectly. Unused ones are rare.

Roland, I have both the Camillus and Imperial also but they are not in the condition of this one. I am surprised they are not in greater demand. ::handshake::

Thanks Doc. ::handshake::

Finally! I ordered this OKC hunting knife in February and got it today $23 to my door. What can I say? This has been a classic kitchen knife for years and I've shortened, reprofile the blades and put new handles on many. Five inch blade 1095 steel and a decent sheath. I already want to brown the blade and put bone handles on it!

Nice mod Byrd, like the way you shaped the blade.

No mods to this one. It's a new offering from Ontario Knife Company based on their butcher knife. Comes this way from the factory with the sheath.

That is a very classic looking knife Byrd, like any Mountain Man would have been pleased to carry.

Rescued these two from my PO Box today. A Camillus 1047 & a Camillus "WHAT-A-KNIFE." This WHAT-A-KNIFE, has two blades and will go nicely with my other WHAT-A-KNIFE.

Just got two today. Pattern 93. Love, love this Oily Creek Bone, now one of my favorite. The other is the Charlie C Waynorth Lambs Foot.

Mark, do they feel similar in hand ? Same size & shape frame but maybe they feel very different ?

SSK congrats, beauties both. I like the lambsfoot, blade doesn't stick out as much when closed, sleek, slim, less footprint in the pocket. Sold out like a Northwoods, and priced about like one though. But absolutely beautiful. I'm smitten.

Honestly I think the Oily Creek feels better in hand. The Waynorth is just a bit too slim. I am not sending It back and I’m not unhappy in the least. If I needed a knife though to use, the Oily Creek is my first choice. When a I say too slim I mean the width from top to bottom.
