I think shooting all those blades from overhead with almost no reflections is quite an achievement. ::tu::

Thanks QS.

It wasn't easy at first, all my shots had serious glare in one place or another. Then my brain finally woke up and thought....indirect lighting. I pointed all of my lights at the walls (it's a very small room) and one at the ceiling. It worked pretty well except the pic is darker than I would have liked. I had to adjust the exposure a little in the edit phase. I like to keep my editing to cropping and resizing but this pic needed a little help.

I just made this one my screen saver. It’s my Rigid complete knife set made by Canal Street. I could look at these all day long.

I love seeing these on my screen. I thought I would have picked some others for that job, but this one just gives my brain dopamine every time I look at it.
Just wish I knew how to crop the bottom of that picture off. My editing skills on my IPhone are limited to the brightness, tint and rotation. That’s all I have figured out.
Thanks

Fooling around with a black background versus my usual stump. I adjust a lot of my pictures with the Mac Photos program as most are slightly overexposed raw.

JohnR and Sasquatch, nice collections of bone.

Sweet pic Scott. I can foresee that on a calendar!

Jtx, how about some more pics of that pick’em up truck?!?!

This one has been riding with me for a few days.
Same knife, different places.

Took a few pics of this one today because I just got it back from Muskrat Man with its new stag scales. He did a great job.

Really nice Charlie.
I thought I would try my hand at taking some unusual photo’s of a few knives. The artist drawing of the BMW 5 series when this was in concept and they first brought out this new body style back in 2009. Two of my favorite things: fine German cars and Japanese knives. Wish I still had that car.
