Loads of Schatt and Morgan’s coming soon

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

I don’t have pictures yet to share but will post some here as I add them to my store. I’m so excited, I bought a collection of 47 knives this week and man am I impressed. If you are familiar with the Schatt and Morgan anniversary series, I have the complete 5th, 6th, 7th,8th, 9th ,10th and 11th series that were made. These knives were offered and purchased from A.G. Russell in 2001. This collector was a member of the Knife Collectors Club and had great taste in knives.
There are gorgeous pearl, stag, bone and one abalone. There were also a few Queen City in there as well.
Look for these soon in my store Sharpnshinyknives.

Thanks Treefarmer. These are just exceptional knives and in mint condition. I think they were stored in the boxes for all these years, no handling marks on them, just beautiful.
Here are the others from the 6th anniversary series.
I actually have 2 of the Deep Green bone Doctor’s knife.
More to come so stay tuned. Might take me several days to get these done, so be patient.

Mark could you give a link to your store. I definitely want to have a look. Queen made some very excellent knives, not always with sharp blades but real beauties.

Turns out there were only a couple of knives from the 8th anniversary series, so not all the patterns are here in this collection. The two that are, are the more desirable of the series. The pearl gunstock jack and the doctor’s knife in antique caramel worm groove bone. I have 2 of the doctor’s knives.
Personally the pearl gunstock jack is the one I like the most, it’s gorgeous and so unusual.
Thanks for looking.

Surprisingly there was only one 4 blade Congress in those particular series, and that one is one of the few that is not in this collection. Sorry, wish I could help. But those 3 blade Whittlers are awfully sweet too.
Thanks for asking.

The Deep Blue Bone 3 Blade Whittler is sold.
Just a word about the condition and quality of these knives. All I have done to them is shine up the brass pins with Simichrome, oiled the pivot joints and given them a very light wipe down with a microfiber cloth with a little protectant. The condition of these is exceptional. No handling marks on them, none of the usual micro scratches on the bolsters. You can tell these were boxed and store properly for all these years.
The quality is right up there with anything GEC is putting out, maybe even a little better. You won’t be disappointed with them. If you are, then I will take them back for a full refund.

Man Mark, i would love to jump on 1 or 2 but trying to buy a new guitar amps and a couple of 76' queens off the bay. If 1 or 2 is still around in August i might jump at them. July i am picking up a load of hot brown bone Imperils from Tom Cosgrove.
Hope they will still be around by then. If not it's fine. Lots of knives out there to choose from ::facepalm:: ::doh::

Here are some more. These pearls are from the 10th series. I had a woodland jigged root beer bone whittler but it already sold. These pearl handled knives are just over the top. This is the first muskrat I have ever fallen in love with. Both blades are made of ATS-34. The Pearl Doctor’s knife has just the main blade made of ATS-34.

Here are the 11th series that I have. This abalone pen knife is so unique, at first it looks like pearl w/ some dark lines in it, then you turn it and the hues of green, blue and pink become visible. I’m including 2 pictures of it to show it’s character.
Next Pearl Dogleg Jack
Carved peach bone, Stockman,Sunfish, Dr’s,Barlow and Gunstock.
All in my store.
Reasonable offers appreciated.

The Carved Peach Bone Barlow is SOLD! Sorry guys, I didn’t think that one would last long. Sold it locally so it’s no long in the store, but you can still see pics in this thread and the Barlow thread. What a unique Barlow. Going to a great guy and collector.
And Seriously, make me offers on these, those prices aren’t fixed on most of them.

I adjusted prices lower on most of these knives a few days ago. If you still think I am high, send me an offer.
This are some incredible knives.
Thanks
