my only tiger coral....posted just recently...bulldog 2005 proto baby bullet trapper.sharp as the devil himself and snaps hard!!! this will be a lifetime keeper!!!!

like i said ITS A LIFETIME KEEPER. my son who i will force to like knives..haha! will own this. and hopefully his son.
Bulldog Brand Knives are probably some of the best built knives currently being made.

i love my good ole usa knives. especially camillus. can easily go toe-to-toe with any current made knife.
i dont have the heart to do it but im sure if i put a 2005 Case knife vs 2005 bulldog the bulldog would come out on top.
ANY COMMENTS ON THAT ARE WELCOME PLEASE-always learning.


if i could hunt down the other 9 pieces i would but whoever has them isnt letting them go either im sure.

plus with tiger coral not all pieces look as good as this one. i have seen a few i would have grabbed also here and their but the scales just dont match right.


so i have a question material guys...how hard of a material is tiger coral to work with?


i keep seeing a 2008 sunfish proto in tiger coral. anybody have one of those please post it .its a beautiful piece.

Those are some sweet, sweet knives fella's, I have only had the privilege of owning one tiger coral and sold it recently. They are indeed something very special to own and admire..Thanks for sharing..

Tiger Coral and Apple Coral are a couple favorites. Here they are in the Lewis and Clark Swing guard. They are customs and 1 of a kind.

How about a couple Anglo-Saxons. I have also been giving some thought to put coral on a Viking (3-7/8) or Thor (4-1/8) model Bulldog Warncliffe Wittlers. This is the one that looks like the Case seahorse.

Well The red apple coral seemed ideal for a knife with a New Orleans etch.
The Tiger Coral ended up on the celebrated Anglo-Saxon. Jeff Jones did these as well as the lewis and Clark swing guards.

About that time I started to embellish my own knives and was making some hunters with sheaths -drop points, my favorite. I got snowballed when my brother took a knife I made for him out of O-1 tool steel and he split open the chest cavity of a bull elk with one swing. That knife was modeled after the Mavrick blade but was 10 inches OAL and I did not fool with a tapered tang. It was also 3/16 steel.

Yep, it came out darker than it really is, I should take other pictures to get a better one. But, it is 100% stable all the way through.

I'm trying to figure what slip joint to work on first, need an excuse to get away from sheaths and fixed blades. I gotta get away from Tandy Leather, they keep sending the wrong size and by now they should know I will catch them. Need to go with Wickett & Craig I guess.

Hmmn, which knife will be next, I do like those Case Warncliffe trappers, I've grown rather fond of them. Much better for me to have a Warncliffe blade than a spey.

It's been one of those days, I tell you it just has been ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

But, I would say it's most likely stable. If James told me that it was, I'd believe him. These sunfish look like the 4 inch sunfish that were made in 1994. "One end larger than the other due to a tooling mix up". I always felt that they should make these again and I'm really glad to see them back but the prices are so high. Yep, this is my favorite style of sunfish, bar NONE!
