Happy Bark River Birthday to me!
Just got this Bark River "Bird and Trout" knife with African blackwood handles for my birthday. The Bird and Trout is my favorite Bark River pattern so far. I have one with canvas micarta handles I've used for a couple of years now. I also was surprised by a little Bark River hatchet. This thing is SHARP!

Re: Happy Bark River Birthday to me!
I bought the same knife when it first came out. Super thin blade, perfect to fish & fowl. I intended to use it but i rarely go fishing and realized i was unlikely to use it so i listed it here on AAPK at a price that was in the buyer's favor (25% less than what i paid). It did not sell so i further dropped the price and it sold.
I was surprised it did not sell right away. With the Elmax steel it is likely the best B&T knife made. It would also be an excellent kitchen paring knife.
