It's ok zoogirl...
Times flies quicker than you know.
You can always tie yours self over with one of your many Richards...
Awesome pack of carries to day boys...
My favorites are that beautiful bowie and your Sword Ivoryman
. That's some really fine bone thar'.
Nothing on my end today...
After i stayed up till 4:30 yesterday watching youtube music...
with Fibromyalgia, ME, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome...
I slept in till 12:00, ate lunch, and went back to bed and slept til 7:00 this evening...
I think Mr. Orvet knows what it's like...
Anyway i managed to get a couple of things in this evening. Put new set of strings on my new guitar i picked up yesterday. Their like knives, or should i say candy...
Anyway it was such a great deal that i couldn't walk away. She's a Peavey Riptide in what they call Lauderdale Red. She's a very high end Tele style. Peavey custom wound pickups. Grover 16:1 tuners. Highend pots, switch, and wiring. The body is made of alder, neck is Canadian hard rock maple, fret board is genuine rosewood. The neck is extremely fast playing. Beautiful woodgrain, straight as an arrow. 5 Bolt set in neck joint. Great finishing on the fret ends. The body is extremely well shaped for maximum comfort. She's Peaveys take on a modern telecaster. She looks a bit like a regular tele, but is not. For one thing the controls are les paul style. The horn is very deeply carved. The other side is offset quite a bit. Feeling, holding, and playing this guitar is like a mix between les, tele, strat, jazz. Pev. took the best of all and combined them in one guitar. It's like the ultimate rock guitar. The neck is one of the most comfortable i've played so far. Almost perfect radius. And the most awesome part of this whole thing...
I got her for $279.99 cnd. Tax included!
She was on the discount rack at one of my music stores in town. They even through in a strap for free. The only reason she was that cheap was some dust and a few scratches on the back plate cover. New this guitar runs around $550.00 plus tax.
Happy today!
And sorry for derailing this thread...

Case 6332 Medium Stockman. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thanks for the kind words on yesterdays carries folks.
Busy day in the shop, this Boker has been on my tool box for many years. I don't keep anything in pockets when I work in the shop.

Added this'un to the pocket for heavy duty yard work , opening bags of dirt for the sweet thang, and digging out wisteria roots. Now I get to sit on the bad boy for about three hours.

Sweet shot Homer, love the hat, the shades, blue jeans, checkered shirt. You're an icon in those duds. Gloves look just like mine. Nice.

What is that?! It’s the closest thing I’ve seen yet to my lost and lamented childhood knife. Mine wasn’t much bigger and the blade configuration is really close. The scales look exactly right.KnifeSlinger#81 wrote:It's a knife and it's tiny.
