A few more Fightin Bulls

Post by Luckypaul777 »

I got a few more Finghtin Bulls today, from Wendell Carson. He sure puts together; some super knives, the fit and finish is great. :D The large toothpick has a blueish tint; Mammoth bark ivory, and the smaller one has Whale bone. On the gunstock; I don't know what the shape of the blades are called, but it has nice brown Mammoth ivory. Pearl always makes a nice handle.

I had never heard of Fightin Bull; until I joined AAPK, what a great site. ::nod:: Hope to add a few more; when I run across them.

those are real nice,,,, another thing. You cant go wrong with a Fightin Bull as long as it stays mint. The value shouldnt go nowhere but up. ::tu::

Well, here are a couple searches:

Fightin' Bull

http://search-desc.ebay.com/Fightin-Bul ... RCHQ3aSRCH

And Wendall Carson:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrp ... FSQ3aMESOI

I have found that his knives can be prone to blade rubs, so I sold out.

Hukk, I saw in your ebay ratings; that you let a few go. I have a bid in; on the black Pearl, but it looks like the reserve; is set at more than I want to spend. I think $180 is my limit; the reserve must be over $200. The same knife in white pearl; was only $120, I didn't realize the black pearl; was that much more.

Hey, I'm looking for that AAPK store to open; love those Bulldogs.

BLP is very expensive, about 3 x 1 x 1/8 is $200.00 while MOP willl cost $96 for presentation grade and as little as $33.00 for B grade. Also, that doesn't mean you will get 1/8 inch Black Lip pearl, you may get .100 instead of .125 So, you either send it back or deal with it @ $200.00! That's a mighty big difference and BLP is not graded like white MOP.

Oh, the 3 x 1 x 1/16 is $190.00 in BLP.
