most of those are available on amazon, you have to watch. you can buy them reasonably. buy books, then buy knives!

Amazon is a GREAT place to get a good used book. I bought my Heat Treaters Giude for Ferrous Alloys and I got The Non-Ferrous one just out of interest AND it was only $40.00 I think.
The Ferrous was about $70-$80 so for both I paid $120, IIRC. Keep in mind that these sell for $249.00 each. So, that's $500.00
worth of books!
I did watch Amazon for quite some time though.

Many have recommeded this site. I think it has something for everyone - across the board!

Lot's of homework. Made for maker's mostly. But in my not so humble opinion, I do believe there is something for collectors also. Collectors don't necessarily need to know all this but anything that increases your overall knowledge makes you less likely for a scam, less likely that you will buy a fake. There are many websites out there just like this.

Pete,
I was looking thru Bruce Voyles site and in his upcoming auction he has a ton of books listed. It might be worth a look. I'm not at home so do not have the address. You will need to google him.
