Wood on Wednesday. How about that?
I believe the Boker is Rosewood & it was made around 1978 to 1984.
The S&M was made around 2012 to 2018.

The last few days I've been messing with the few modern style knives that I still have. They are kind of fun to play with but I don't think they are quite as useful or appealing as a regular old style pocket knife.

Thanks fellas, IM the bone is Remington bone, people have argued that(imagine that), so Tony tends to call it "old bone".Ivoryman wrote:

This 53047. Got it used from Steve Pfeiffer a couple months ago, in the state you see it here. It was sharp when I got it, but needed some work on the edges which I’m gradually straightening out as needed.

MM, that blade makes me dizzy when I look at it, also makes me a little envious. Beautiful.
BH, you need a blue one to add to the mix. You said they are sharp, then they must be knives. I don't buy the cover, I buy the book.
MMMmmmmmm Ken, those covers! Like my sweet Carol, better with age.

Absolutely! Takes a wonderful edge as I learned Monday morning. And I fished it out of the bay for a song.royal0014 wrote:Tony, that Lionsteel is a knice piece of cutlery .....

A 66 is a rare knife. I like it. I have a gently used TESTED example. Don't see them often or at all.woodwalker wrote:Carried my old Case 6366 Green Bone today.
Carry in good health.

Thanks Jerry. The blades on mine are used up with one blade broken but the covers are in great shape. Appreciate your comments.zp4ja wrote:A 66 is a rare knife. I like it. I have a gently used TESTED example. Don't see them often or at all.woodwalker wrote:Carried my old Case 6366 Green Bone today.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Many thanks, woodwalker. I've held onto a few knives for 40 or 50 years, & took pretty good care of them, but I've acquired most in the last few years, once I found AAPK. I take even better care of them now that I know more & I no longer have a lot for any of them to do other than be carried, admired & shared. It's good to know someone else is enjoying them, too.woodwalker wrote:Very nice Geocash. You have clean gorgeous knives that you show. Appreciate seeing them!geocash wrote:EDC172.jpg

Thanks, I hear you, good bone and good observation. Nailed the shot, the knife, the bones, the drift. Thanks.
