Ivory mostly. A little antler. Both are about the hardness of a medium hardwood like Oak, Maple etc. You do nice work. Impressive realism. Also like the Tauga nut, I have thought about trying my hand at carving them. I've heard it called vegetable ivory, plant or herb ivory or something like that. Looks great on your handle. True art forms no doubt. Thanks.

Tony Bose Texas jack today, Tony told me the other day that Ka-Bar is the only manufacture he has seen, that brings the swedge over the top like that. He also stated that they made a jack and a stockman on the same frame.

This Tiki douk-douk just joined the team as a purse knife. It’s nice and slim but the blade is fairly solid and very sharp.
I think if anyone looked in my bag and saw the little guy staring up at them, it might be enough to scare them off without ever opening the knife! Tough little mutt, ain’t he?!

She's a Lenox from Germany, been on the hone a few times , as you say the wood is absolutely fine. Tote'n some today that don't any way measure up.
