Tipped?
This Barlow is the only Remington I have that was made by Remington
so you know I don't know Remingtons. I don't even know the model number. I know it's difficult to get a good measurement from my image but maybe it won't hurt. I read it as 3 5/8" L, folded: But I suspect the master blade was longer, originally. Will one of you kind experts try to enlighten me a little?geocash

Re: Tipped?
HI geocash, yes, your suspicions are correct. The blade is shorter than originally and has been reprofiled. tip probably broken at some time in the past.Late remington model somewhere around 1935 to 1940. Still a nice user. Randy

I think your knife is probably an RB44. Nice old knife. Thanks for showing us

Appreciate it, eveled. I still tote it & like it. It looks & feels like it was well-made but I reckon I'll be on the lookout for one that's a bit better.eveled wrote:I wouldn’t mind having it in my pocket. Nice old knife.
