Looking for Tidioute Related Cutlery Items for research

Post by PA Knives »

Dear Fellow Knife Knuts,

As many of you know, I am working on a book about the Cutlery Companies of Tidioute Pennsylvania. I want to now collect additional photo's and related items for possible addition to my work. This may provide some insite for additonal information also. If you have a nice knife, article, picture, information that you think could possibly be of interest to others, please contact me and we can talk. Photos must be in TIF form and sent on a CD, PLEASE don't send it via e-mail as it would be just to big. If you want to send a smaller version in JPEG for me to just review, that would be fine. I suggest contacting me first. Photos have to be GOOD. I can help with that or even better I can take them and return the knives to you. I have found some unusual items already for the book but I am always looking for more. Boxes, books, pamphlets etc would be great. I even found the original whistle from the Tidioute Cutlery Plant. How cool is that? ::tu:: Keep your eyes open for me. I am not looking to buy from you ::doh:: , just a photo or additional information is what I want. I will of course credit you in the book if your material is used. Thanks gang, I know that I can count on you. I hope to be able to go to the printer by this fall. This is a great experience for me and the items that I have discovered should be of interest to a great many readers.
