Case 06247 mod --->
I always like the 47 frame, particularly the slim 06247PEN, as it has a single spring. I figured there just might be enough to shape the pen blade into a little sheepsfoot ... it's a tad small / out of proportion for the frame, but the best I could do given the size of the pen blade. This particular one snaps so nice on both blades - really nice pattern ...

Another great idea John. Would make a great whittler with that blade. Now you got me thinking. Thanks for sharing.

Outstanding John!!! You're a very forward thinker. You have the ability to see things that aren't there. Yet...

John that would work on any knife with a pen blade? As long as the nail nick was suitable?

Another nice mod John - to my way of thinking a Coping blade is more useful than a Pen blade, especially when paired with a stout Clip main such as the 47 pattern possesses. OH

Floyd - depends on where the upsweep starts forward of the nail nick ... most times, I think it would work (downside is the modded coping / sheepfoots tend to be a little shorter than standard).doglegg wrote:John that would work on any knife with a pen blade? As long as the nail nick was suitable?
