doglegg, I always appreciate your comments. I would have preferred the Boker with smooth bone but I still like it. Excellent F&F.

My postlady brought this little short line Camillus 64 today. Looks to be buffed a bit but in pretty good shape complete with punch.

That's a great lookin' Camillus.
Is there a special name for that style of punch/awl?

Philip, I don't really know. I've seen ones like it on here. I think it might be proprietary but that is just a guess on my part.treefarmer wrote:That's a great lookin' Camillus.

Floyd, one of my old books calls it a Spiral Punch and the 64 is referred to as a Junior Premium Stock Knife. Just reading a bit more, there are three knives referred to as Junior Premium Sock Knives, the 63, 64, and the 65, all the same frame. Handle material and blade arraignment makes the difference. 64 is the only one with a punch.

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Big day today. Got back three from Muskrat Man. The top one is a Boker I had rehandled in Amboynia wood. The second is a Paragon by Tommy Lee. I bought it unfinished and sent Kaleb some exotic hardwood and he finished it out for me. The Keen Kutter was in a collection I purchased last year. See the last photo for what it looked like before. I sent MM donor knives and he replaced the blades for me. Last is an Al Mar Eagle Talon. My first Al Mar knife. It’s got the great fit and finish of all Seki knives.

Thanks Philip, I appreciate the research. It was the punch that caught my eye and being a short line and in pretty good shape. I will have to keep an eye out for the 63 and the 65. Thanks again.treefarmer wrote:Floyd, one of my old books calls it a Spiral Punch and the 64 is referred to as a Junior Premium Stock Knife. Thanks Doglegg, I forgot I also picked up these three Imperial Ireland Barlows the other day. Saw them crawl across the screen last week and couldn’t resist. For 8 dollars a piece I feel pretty good about them. They pale in comparison to the others that came today.doglegg wrote:SSK, some dandies there. Great work on them and now great knives.![]()

Another early stamp schrade walden 856, however this one gets to be used some. The ulster came along with it which is fine by me.

Received two AG Russells and am still wondering how the seller was able to offer such a low price.

What a score SSK, they look pretty good too. I saw that listing as well and was tempted but wasn't sure what to do with 3 more Barlows.Sharpnshinyknives wrote:Thanks Doglegg, I forgot I also picked up these three Imperial Ireland Barlows the other day. My 13th Camillus 14. They're like potato chips and/or ice cream, I can't lay off them. This is my 13th and for $6.11 shipped, I couldn't resist. Yes, it has some issues but all in all it would make a good carry.

Got this cocobolo handled AG Russell sowbelly a couple weeks ago in a trade with Philco to go along with the yellow Delrin and brown Micarta versions I already have in this pattern. Not sure why I need 3 but couldn't resist when it was offered up to me.
Thanks Phil.
