I'm sure you got double your money's worth out of it for 20 years of owning it. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost 20 years ago? Do they still make that model?Camillus wrote:Thanks guys,
I had this pistol for over twenty years now and still love shooting it.

Possibly, or it could be re barreled. But I can't get what the original idea was for the chambering? Hard to imagine a load for the 45 ACP that could push a bullet down 28-30" of barrel. I asked the fellow about it, but he just owns the rifle now, he was not the one who had it built. He had no explanation either.FRJ wrote:I would have opted for a 219 Zipper over that.![]()
Is it condemned? .... Could it be milled to a 45/70 or something?

I’m out in the country. I’d be more than happy to test it out for you......Paladin wrote:Thanks guys! I can't wait to get it out to the country and plink with it.![]()

Amen! I HAD a S&W Airweight for a short time. I fired off some 38 special +p in it and decided it weren’t for me. Nasty little thing.Quick Steel wrote:Thanks Steve.
Ray you will appreciate the weight of that Ruger when you touch off those +Ps.
