RH4 Remington

Post by knife-nut »

Ever see a RH4 with the original box? The box is missing the end flap on one end, but otherwise is pretty nice. The sheath is perfect. The knife has very light sharpening marks.

Yup, I saw that one on the bay I believe. Neither I or a couple other Remington fixed blade guys I know bid due to blade and box condition. I have had and sold a couple of these and several other unused Remington hunters in the box, a couple with the original shipping box over the original box. They are cool, and they are out there!!

I saw that, I bid for a while but lost gas. I have only one box. You picked up a nice piece.

Knife nut you could brag on that one and just be stating the facts. Great pick up. Love the blade shape and the handle. I guess that means I like the whole thing and to get the box too. ::tu:: ::tu::

espn, that's a beauty!! I have had a few in green boxes also, don't remember if they were DuPont or UMC. A few years back I began selling off my Remington hunting knife collection, I had had at least one of every model including all UMC and DuPont era knives except for the big 12" RH 42. I still have some goodies, they don't seem to be as popular as they were ten years ago for some reason. Have had several BSA ones not listed in Grimm's book, I always liked the BSA knives.
