You are a lucky man Dew. I grew up in the mountains of Southern Oregon, I sure do miss them.

Dale, where if I may ask? I was born, raised, and returned to Grants Pass. Unfortunately, it appears that soon my career may take me to the Portland metro area or worse, Seattle. I love cities, Portland in particular and Seattle a close second, but I'm sure going to miss the mountains.
Not much career opportunity for me in GP, Lakeview, or Enterprise....
Nice country, Dewman. Hoping to get over to the Seven Devils soon myself. Oh yeah, and Johnny Lang is awesome.
I grew up about 12 miles from Ashland up Dead Indian Road. We moved up there in 1962. We were the last year around residents on the West end of Dead Indian headed over to Klamath Falls.
We finally got electricity & telephone in 1968, about the time I started my senior year of High School. It was a great place to grow up.

My wife took one look at your pic & exclaimed, "HE IS WEARING TIE-DYE!”
I must admit I was a bit shocked myself, a Texan without cowboy boots AND wearing tie-dye! (Must be a closet hippy somewhere nearby).
That second pic was was a good one. Got a pole on your hand & fishin'. Now that is a manly picture!

Yeah! Johnnie, this was a Great Thread! You know, no matter how hard I tried, I could never squeeze a picture out of El Lobo. It would have been nice to put a face to all his Great Posts!
