If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Very Sad News To Share Re: Bill Wolfe (El Lobo)

Post by Bryan »

I have very sad news to share about our dear friend Bill Wolfe (El Lobo). I learned this morning that Bill passed away Saturday night. He threw a massive blood clot to his heart and the doctors couldn't dissipate it fast enough to keep his heart pumping. His dear wife Becky sent word with a request to share this information with the members of AAPK.

I know Bill has always been near and dear to many of us and that he enjoyed his involvement with everyone here very much.

Bill has been a member since the earliest days of AAPK and he has always been so kind and helpful. Bill played a very big part in shaping our laid back atmosphere. His humor and sound judgment will be sorely missed.

I express sincere condolences to Becky and all of his family, and friends. God be with you.

 Bryan, this is just Horrible News! I felt that something was wrong with Bill because he didn't post anything about Saturdays Derby results. I will miss Bill Greatly, He was my Best Friend to talk to here at AAPK, He always got a chuckle out of my twisted humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family and if they need anything at all, I hope they will let us know. This is a VERY SAD DAY!

Bill was one of the first friends I made in online knife forums. I first met him at BladeForums about 3 years ago, before I found AAPK.
Bill always had a good word for someone and had a great sense of humor.
He will be missed.
My prayers go out to his family.

I also knew Bill through another forum initially, then over here. He always made a discussion more fun and interesting.

This really bums me out...

Bryan, let us know if there is anything we can do for his family.

We'll miss ya, Bill...

This is very, very sad news. Not only did Bill direct me to these forums, but I truly enjoyed meeting him and discussing our knife passion, I just wish I could have met him sooner as it was only a month ago. He had so much to offer. My truest condolences to his family.

Hello everyone,

My name is Brett Wolfe. Bill Wolfe was my father, and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all the kind words that have been written about him on this forum. It is evident that my father has been able to touch many people in a positive way. He really, really loved this forum, as well as the business of dealing in knives, which was a passion for him. Please know that you all were such a positive part of every day for him, and that he is smiling down from God's right hand upon you and us!

God Bless!

I didn't know Bill very well, but I participated with him on the other forum too. He was always a good spirit, and enjoyed others successes, as much as his own. He is missed.
