CASE USA 6235 1/2
i recently picked up a 1965 to 1969 Case 6235 1/2 and its different than my others.The nail pull is in a different place and the main blade is in the back instead of the front.Can someone please explain

There is no real explanation for it, just that Case seemed to have two sets of tooling for the 35 patterns (also the barlows) that were used during the XX and USA eras.

There is no way to tell that, only that for example from 65 to 69 both tooling styles were in use.

There were to blade set ups made in that time period for that pattern, master blade front and master blade back. The value seems to be the same for either set up.
