Case peanut

Post by Beag1eGal »

Hi folks.. just a quick question. I got this Case Peanut at one of the knife shows in Chattanooga in the mid 90's.
It is stag and has 3 dots. 5220 .I think it is a 1997.
On the bolster it has 1998. The tang stamp is that 1993-1999 7 dot stamp.
I have never used this. And have not seen another or even when I search I find no information. It could be how I am wording my search.
Anyway, is this in fact a 1997, and is the number on the bolster a "1 of" a certain amount?
I am adding photos.
Thank you. Hope you and yours are well.

I would say a 1997 knife given during a 1998 commemorative event.

But I've been wrong before.
Take care and God bless,
