You ought to put a little spit shine on them bolsters Tony, makes it a whole new knife.

That thing jumped out of the tube and into my pocket so fast yesterday I haven't even had a chance to put a better edge on the Wharnie and clean up the joints some. It should get a break for Stag Saturday so I'll take some time to slap some polish and 3-in-1 on the thing and drag it across an Arkansas stone before the next ride.

That's a Pacific Rim Colt brand in buckshot bone of recent vintage. Built in the same facilities as Rough Rider, IIRC, and occasionally with the same tooling. I've always liked some of those knives with the buckshot handles, but that one is pretty wild even for me.

How does the 440 hold up, QS? Certainly not as well as some of Tony's creations, no doubt.

Carving some faces on Walrus teeth and threw the knife in.

I enjoy things crafted from natural materials and those are great, lovely primitive style to them. Very nicely done I-Man and a cool hobby ya have going there.

Tony, Tsar Bomba hit the target. A Colt. The majority of my pocket knives do only light duty so I am always reluctant to generalize on the performance of their steel. It arrived with a good edge and it certainly performs satisfactorily on the simple "open the mail, cut the string" kind of duties. The blade reads KEEPING THE PEACE SINCE 1836. Comes with a half stop.

I have been toting the my GEC 66 harness Jack in ebony for the last week or so. Really like this knife alot, one of my favorites, I love having the punch for poking and prodding purposes.
