W.R. CASE & SONS - BARE HEAD Bone Handled Jack ~ Small Blade Stamped

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Has anyone seen more W.R. Case & Son's Knives with Pile Side Stamped on Small Pen Blade - This looks like a Really Nice Knife - The Stamp isn't Centered on the Blade - Is it Genuine ~ ?

Actually pretty common for a pen blade to be stamped on the side with the nail nick. Blade has a left hand pull.

It looks good to me. My guess is the pattern number is 6216 1/2 if the closed is 3 1/2 " as it appears from the ruler. For as old as it is, the knife is in remarkable condition. The stamps are very bright and clear. ::tu:: ::tu::
