Case Muskrat
Some of you may remember my search for some period Case redbone and shield for this muskrat. Thanks to those who tried to help me out!

Anyway, I was finally successful in locating a couple junker 6275 patterns, which I was able to re-purpose the mark and pile sides from. Not horribly easy fitting those scales to the pin-holes and cutouts on an existing frame, but it turned out okay. I purposely left things a little rough, didn't want to take away too much from the original look.
I did a light rust removal on the blades, but was able to maintain the patina.

Nice work. I bet it was fun hunting for the parts you needed. I enjoy the hunt as much as repairing.

Looks really great. Just the right touch leaving some patina.

Thanks everyone, I'm happy I was able to save a family heirloom for someone. It's not OEM equipment, but it's pretty close.
