Case MOP 8151 Jaguar difference between band stamps

Post by jjohnston »

I recently acquired a Case 2000 mother of pearl 8151 Jaguar which has a W.R. Case stamp on the cigar band. Also it has the number 133 on the front bolster with smooth bolsters. no engraved bolsters. I have seen other 8151 Jaguars of the same year with the XX cigar band stamp. What is the difference between the two?
Thanks for your help.

At least some, maybe all, of these were SFO’s for Shepherd Hills Cutlery. Possibly had different bands made in hopes some would buy both. ::shrug:: You might ask them. http://Www.casexx.com.
