Sweet pair, got about all the blades covered, great bones on both of those lookers. Very nice.

Two today. Can never find a knife with a good wharn, a good clip, and a pen.

I just got this 82 stockman with the intention of it being used and carried a bunch. I think it will work out nicely.

Doug, I have a CASE Backpocket CV, and it’s a fantastic knife. Yours is a real looker.

Thanks! ::handshake:: These two make a natural pairing IMO and the Imperial is as solid and snappy as the day it rolled out of Providence. Truly pocket-worn Rogers bone is a unique and attractive look, IMO. I really like both of these folders.

The 82 stockman is pretty close. I think the short drop-skinner-quasi-spey and the Wharnie can split the duties of a pen blade, and I went a full week with an 82 as my only slipjoint without any problems.

A pair of chestnut Cases rode with me today with birthdays 27 years apart.

Love the muskrat. They sure do ride well in the pocket.

I've got a schrade muskrat that I carry sometimes, it's my only user muskrat I think. It's a useful pattern.

Looks like those two may have been together a long time, David. They look like a nice couple.

This stockman is rather new to me & it became a favorite pretty quickly. I believe it was made in Solingen around '83 to '94, for Frank Buster of Tennessee, maybe in the Friedrich Olbertz factory. It has Buster's "Celebrated" stamp & I like the pen in place of a spey. I bought the Case new, no later than 1969.

I'm carrying this one today, and for a long time to come. I worked it over to my liking last night. Worth every penny.

My new EDC is a CASE Dave Canterbury Trapper. The Stonewashed blades are cool, and sharp as a razor straight out of the box. I can't bring myself to cut nything with it, so I think I may just put it back in the wrapper and box. I have a Rough Rider Trapper that I'm not as thrilled with as the CASE. This knife is just too cool to use.

The 82 stockman makes a strong case for EDC. I'm glad they made a fair supply of them, because they sure do beg to be carried. Make sure you've got the heavy-duty belt or suspenders on, though. 8)

Yeah, gec did very well with these. I got one 82 and then two more since I liked the first so much. Now it's my favorite gec after the 81 stockman.
