Tony I can't figure out if you are a leather worker or a knife maker. I guess you wear many hats and all well.

Very attractive sheath Tony, well done.
Just curious, is it a belt or pocket model?

Thank you.
Thank you sir. This is a belt sheath, but it has a low profile loop so it can be carried in a pocket. The loop is attached with brass rivets. I will get a pic of the back side.sunknife wrote:Very attractive sheath Tony, well done.![]()

The sheath is the perfect compliment to the knife Tony. Great job and attractive.

Beautiful! You must be proud of your work! How much would your cost to make a sheath for a buck skinner be???

Thank you. I currently have “work overload syndrome.” Usually my leather time is occupied by sheaths for knives I have made.Scale Military wrote:Tony_Wood wrote:Some leather for my most recent fixed blade build.

I like the coffin shape of the sheath. It and the knife compliment each other.

Tony, that combo is gorgeous! Scott, you wouldn't be sorry...the one, up above, in the 28 Feb 19 post, is now mine. I absolutely love it. It takes and holds a scary edge.

Re: Fixed blade leather sheath builds
A different kind of sheath here.
Dyed and finished leather that I sewed into a pouch to hold filet knives. The knives ride in a flexiglass sheath that is wrapped in a leather pouch.
Simple, but effective.
