My GEC Birthday knife...

Post by WillyCamaro »

Hey Guys.
My birthday was on the 22nd. Well I was looking on GEC website and came across my dream knife, if i can put it that way. It happened to me released on the 22nd. And she is drop dead gorgeous!
It's in the NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD #06 series. Brand new release...Caribbean Acrylic 06 Templar. This is one beautiful knife. Also going to be coming out in Red Acrylic...wonder how that's going to look. She has super fancy bolsters. Great etching.
Why i'm stating this is, could ya really nice guys keep an eye out for a "reasonable" priced one.

GEC has a pricing agreement with their dealers so they all are priced about the same. You can also get them on ebay from a 'flipper' but usually the final price is higher than original dealer price, sometimes twice as high.
If it is not wildly popular you will be able to get one from a dealer. There is no cheaper option until about a year or so after release when some owners might want to sell.

It just so happens I was perusing that same knife just a few minutes ago. I checked several of the GEC dealers but couldn't find one for sale. Any suggestions??

Got a notification from CK that they were available and picked up 2 of the blue ones earlier today. Just got done checking and it looks like he still has a few for the folks that reserved them but I have no idea if they will sell out or not. Just hoping I get the notification for the red one as well in time to get one.

I wish they would make a templar stockman.

I just bought my GEC #97 maroon micarta knife. ($104.15) I checked around all of the other dealers to see what they had in stock. Those #06 Pemberton Templar knives are all over the place. Keep searching , both colors can be found .
