Anybody else make spoons? I've been on the kick for a couple years...

That is some pretty awesome work Scott. I like the variety and the one with the natural unfinished handle catches my eye. Looks like you have settled mostly on cedar. Thank you for sharing.

Have you carved a spurtl?
My wife got some from QVC or HSN. They are great for getting peanut butter out of the bottom of the jar!

Good work Scott!
I have a couple of Scott’s spoons, as trade offs for knife work. They are excellent.

Especially like the spalted one.

Nice work. I really like the grain they show. I've only carved a couple. I need to try another one soon. This is my very first spoon I carved last year.

Smaller is Eastern Red Cedar, other is Water Oak I believe!

Whittled this out of a Mullberry tree limb. I also used a hatchet and a curved knife along with my Case seahorse whittler to make it. The wood grain had a twist to it so it has a crooked and twisted handle.
