Thanks' Quick Steel.
I do like the canoe pattern. Believe it or not I really like the Rough Rider with carbon blades. That is one nice knife for the money. ::tu::

Nev52, Nothing wrong with collecting Rough Ryders and the prices are easy to love. I have several that have a lot of appeal to me including canoes.

Thanks Doglegg. I guess you can say I accumulate not really collect. If I see something I like I buy it. I have to say since I found this web site I am accumulating a lot more pocket knives. I guess you have to spend money on something.

I got this Queen Oar Carver canoe from doglegg in the POS exchange (a total misnomer for this knife). I didn't realize right away that it is a canoe pattern. D2 steel should hold an edge. Now it is getting ready to tackle some mini decoys.
Thanks doglegg

OC it had not occurred to me either that it was a canoe pattern. Looking forward to the decoys it helps with. ::tu::

All ya fellars have such beautiful canoes! She's probably my favorite pattern of all. Too bad I only have one...but wait...I just picked up 3 in my latest ebay haul. And all Winchesters to boot...a mop 2 blade that has a small crack...and 2, orange burnt bone canittlers, 1 needs a bit of work...but for the price i grabbed them all...it was well worth it.

I’ve decided that this one will be my next canoe. It’s not available yet, keeping an eye out for it. Turquoise curly maple. Thinking about collecting all the curly maples that Case is making. I like them all.

My collection isn't that impressive compared to some others I've seen! I have been known to infect others with the canoe bug though. If you don't watch yourself you'll look around one day and think "Good Lord! Where did all these canoes come from?" They just kinda' sneak up on ya. ::shrug::
